Jena has been a nurse in Tyler since 2009. Her focus is holistic and preventative care. She began practicing nursing at ETMC in the peri-anesthesia care unit. In 2015, Jena began providing primary care and later began caring for patients urological care. This includes treating patients with bladder and/or prostate cancer, kidney stones, frequent urinary infections and an array of other pelvic floor and bladder conditions. “The best part of providing health care is meeting people where they are."

I have been seeing Jena Decanter, FNP for my primary care within the last year. Each visit she is friendly, compassionate, and very thorough and very knowledgeable in the care that she provides. She listens to my concerns, she takes the time to educate me on my health issues as well as always including wellness promotion /disease prevention strategies in each visit.
